Description

XinematiX establishes a new high-level standard for sampling libraries for iOS®.

XinematiX delivers over 25 GB of premium sounds that are the result of over 3 years of recording and programming work by legendary sample sound producer KARO Sound Development, brought to you by music app guru Harry Gohs. Unlimited creative possibilities and ease of use - that's what XinematiX is all about.

non-compromise sound quality – Harry Gohs’ top-notch sound engine offers excellent dynamics via extensive velocity switching and clever programming. Advanced features like Round Robin sample triggering will make your performances and productions sound richer and more natural than ever before.

The App already includes 2 beautiful multi sampled sounds: A phrase choir using round robin to give you different articulations on each key repetition and the standard XinematiX Choir preset.

990 programs - carefully curated sound programs selecting from 62 preset packs across all thinkable sound categories now available with a single in-app purchase.

Multi power - Up to 3 different programs can be stacked simultaneously in a multi and either be crossfaded or layered for dramatic sound sculpting with the intuitive color-coded on-screen fader.

Flexible and customizable – pro features like envelopes, filters, and reverb effects make it easy to adapt any program/multi to your needs and save it as your own user preset. A special “white mode” allows effective manipulation of all programs loaded in a multi at once.

Live Mode - organize your multis and programs for quick access in a dedicated Live Mode with 128 scenes and 16 tiles per screen.

Unlimited seamless transitions – No matter if you are performing or just browsing through sounds: To ensure you stay in the flow, special care is given that your sound never cuts off or glitches.

MIDI Learn - A comprehensive MIDI Learn feature makes it easy to map any MIDI controller to all relevant functions.

Further features include:
• Dynamic control fader compresses the response of your keybed on the fly
• ‘Dice’ button suggests random multi for instant inspiration
• Hermode Tuning function for purest harmonies
• Compatible with MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE)
• optional SSD disk streaming

Great sounds

But after using even just one instance in AUM it reaches max dsp when being sequenced by a midi app. I tried buffers of 256, 512, 1024 still glitches out. Tried rebooting…same thing. Playing it with an external keyboard is fine.

Confusing

Pay $1100 for all the packs(!) and it might be easy to navigate. If you don’t or haven’t The sounds you “own” are not easy to demarcate from empty patches you don’t with this layout. So over and over in use you end up trying to simply choose a working patch in each of the three slots but end up with something that won’t make a sound. I can already see if I bought 3 or 4 navigating to something that works would still be a convoluted maze of frustration so unreasonable that I’ll just pass altogether until I happen to have $1100 to blow all at once on a $100 app. Sheesh. One star instead of none because the sounds I heard are not horrible, but still nothing like something like Omnisphere or whatever on desktop which for the whole freaking thing is cheaper than the whole package for this monstrously overpriced proposition. First Virsyn product I have (I own most of them) that I don’t think is a great value for what you get. Hope this atrocious business model doesn’t spread like black mold or covid or something. Bad day when an iOS app with all its possible bells and whistles is more pricey than a comparable desktop alternative, even worse if said alternative is arguably better notwithstanding admittedly what you get does live up to Virsyn quality we have long and deeply appreciated on the iOS platform.

Developer Response ,

Hi UrbanNinjitsu, I agree with you that the first first was indeed confusing because of the whooping number of sounds the complete version has. With version 1.1 you normally only see the sounds you have already purchased or are part of the factory sounds. And even more you can try out all sound libraries for 7 days without purchasing.

Disappointed Purchase

OK, so I bought into the hype and bought most of the libraries and got my bonuses as well. Since the last update, I have not been able to access the library‘s that I purchased nor my bonus libraries. Instead, they pop up as for purchase when I went to purchase a new library that I had not yet gotten, it charged me twice but yet no library book, it tells me that I have a bonus of over $600 but no access to none of my library’s that I had originally purchased. I’ve spent a lot of money in this app and I expect better. Will I be able to restore my libraries. Update 2.2 didnt change anything…..HELP
